Urban Survival for MOM: Change your life challenge

Survival isnt always about food and shelter, sometimes it is about the way you live now, and your overall well-being. A few weeks ago I was feeling like I was drowning in debt, bills, housework, and bogged down by my overall life laziness. I love to read self help books, and try to be a better person, but It never seems to fit the way that I think or live. I did however find this book by Brook Noel called "the change your life challenge" although I have not yet done all of the stuff she has you do, I did however do one thing that has made an impact. I started a C.A.N., which is a catch-all notebook. In the book she describes it as a small plain notebook that can be carried with you everywhere to become your second brain. You can keep lists, ideas, reminders, and everything else that you need to think of. It has become my way of keeping myself in check daily, and holding all the things at night that I need to remember for the next day. I have scribbled ideas, phone numbers, chore lists, and even songs from the radio I'd like to download. It has become the way I organize my day. I recommend her website www.brooknoel.com But really, reading her books is a great boost!
Also, I must say that getting a good nights sleep has had a HUGE impact in the way I think, and prioritize my day. She has great ideas for getting stuff done, and mini-makeovers of housework, bills and personal time. Try it out! It is always important in survival to be your best self!!!!!!
