The Old Farmers Almanac

For those of you that have not heard of The Old Farmers Almanac, it is a book published every year that has: weather forecasts, seed planting times, astronomy charts, sun rise and sun set times, and many more bits of information useful to a farmer. It was first published in 1792 and is said to be 80% accurate in its weather predictions. This book is also a great addition to any emergency prep kit! It can give you information you need to survive. Without the internet, tv, or radio, I know I would never be able to know what the temperatures were going to be, or the times to plant things. I can be a useful tool in growing food, traveling by the stars, and preparing for good and bad weather.
